We've all been there, bearing a great poem, plot, or idea in mind, we all felt the urge to immortalize it in a work we could call our own. In spite of our longing to begin, the very moment we got in front of a word processor (or got hold of a pen and paper), we struggled to begin writing anything at all. We would then lose interest, and that great idea that could have been had not become and would never be.

Many things hinder us from continuing: How do I describe this setting? Is my grammar correct? Is my main character good enough? Does my plot make sense? Would someone share the same emotions I've felt the moment they've read my poem or read my works?

This can all be solved through interaction, no matter how reserved you are, and Word Attack has a community that can help you get that interaction. Writing can become a surprisingly pleasant experience with someone there to guide you by showing you how to do things, what you've done wrong, and what you can do right.

Receive Critiques from Members

Our community works in a review based system. Members share their works so that they may receive critiques that extend to emotional impact, grammar checks, writing techniques, character development, etc.

As a member of the organization, you are privileged to receive these critiques but are also responsible in imparting critiques to other members.

Learn from other Writers

The critiques and works of our community may serve as writing resources for members to learn from and to be inspired by. Also present are writing tips and blog posts that can serve as learning materials for our members.

Forge a Strong Community of Writers

Writing is an incredible experience when a community is there to help you. Experiencing writer’s block? No problem, you can ask the community for help. Unsure of your grammar? Don’t be afraid to ask other members.

By interacting with members of the community, writers can forward their writing aspirations and forge friendships that extend beyond exchanging works and critiques amongst themselves.
