Rules and regulations

     Members must religiously follow these rules and regulations. Members who have failed to do so will be contacted by the appropriate officer and may be put under probation. If a probationary member continues to disregard these rules, they shall be removed from the community and will not be allowed to rejoin until the organization accepts members again.

General Rules

​

  1. Members must be polite.

  2. Members must have substantial participation in the community. Signing up in the organization means that you are ready to allot time in the future for the organization.

  3. Members must review at least two literary pieces every month within the group. Do not mistake the Facebook page with the online group.

  4. Members with assigned guilds must have attended at least two guild meetings before the end of a semester.

  5. Members cannot award themselves or any other member any badge apart from the commendation badge.

  6. Members who do not renew their membership will have their profile and achievements wiped from the community. Members may apply again, but they may no longer retrieve their previous profile and achievements.

Rules When Posting

  1. Every post requires a directory hashtag, a profile hashtag, and a title hashtag, if a title is present.

  2. Members may not use general directory hashtags and officer hashtags.

  3. No one is allowed to share any of the posts within the group to help preserve the functionality of the hashtag directory.

  4. No one is allowed to have more than one profile hashtag and no one is allowed to use the profile hashtags of other members.

  5. Members may only use the profile hashtag they registered with the first time they joined the community. The profile hashtag will persist even after the member leaves the group and decides to return.

  6. Profile hashtags require special permission from an officer to be changed.

  7. No one but Pluma (The Word Attack Account) is allowed to comment at the Hashtag Directory.
