Writing Goals
Every member of Word Attack must have a writing goal. This will be their drive and motivation to write and share their works with the community. Now, writing goals can't just be intangible goals like:

-
Wanting to improve grammar;
-
Hoping to increase confidence in writing; or
-
Willing to have better writing skills.
They have to be goals that are tangible:

-
I want to finish the first five chapters of my novel after three months;
-
I want to make a compilation of poems by combining the poems I've already made and the poems I would have made within the next four months; or
-
I would like to make ten short stories within the span of a month. These short stories would share a theme and would be loosely interconnected with each other in plot.
By fulfilling tangible goals, not only would you have created something, but you would also have improved your knowledge in grammar, your confidence in writing, and your writing skills overall.
Setting goals like these encourage you to write and forces you out of the habit of writing only because you feel like it. In a sense, you’ll get into writing by pursuing these goals.
If you're an absolute beginner and haven’t the slightest clue of what you’re going to write, seek help from the officers. They will help you come up with your long-term goal. Afterwards, once you've accomplished your long-term goal, you make another one.

So if you're part or planning to be part of the community, ask yourself:

What is my current writing goal?
